I've built models for stage design, and I build puppets - but it never occurred to me to use these skills (and 1/6th scale furniture pieces I've made) for illustration modeling. Thanks for this inspiration!

That's a really great way to go about it! I usually just try and take pictures of myself doing weird poses or doing stuff with my hands. Haha.
